Can we meet the DJ to discuss our function?
LR Disco Entertainment offer to meet, or at the very least talk over the phone, to discuss the running of your event and how we can personalise it to your needs and requirements. This important meeting also gives us a really good idea of what kind of music you like. LR Disco Entertainment works with you to ensure that your event is a success. This would include the client providing a playlist for their event. It is important that this playlist is given to the DJ at least 3 weeks before the event.
How do we pay the deposit?
LR Disco Entertainment normally for a 15% deposit sent to Lee Russell at 8 Molesey Park Road, West Molesey, Surrey, KT8 2LE. Cheques or bank transfer are made payable to Lee Russell.
How do I know my booking is confirmed?
Most people make an initial contact about dates and prices. This is not a booking. A booking is only confirmed when the booking form & deposit has been received and cleared. All bookings take effect immediately upon receipt of the client’s deposit. Payment of deposit by any method is deemed as the client’s acknowledgments and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
What music selection do you provide?
We understand that each event is personal to the client. Although LR Disco Entertainment has over 20,000 songs to select from, it is usually possible to get hold of additional songs, specifically requested by the client.
Who will turn up to DJ at my party?
When you make your booking you will be told who your DJ is going to be and they will meet or speak to you about your event but all correspondence will go through Lee Russell, Managing Director.

What happens if the DJ cannot make it ?
In the very unlikely event that LR Disco Entertainment is unable to honour the booking due to unavoidable circumstances, LR Disco Entertainment agrees to inform the client immediately and make all reasonable attempts to find a suitable replacement DJ of similar standard and style, at no extra cost to the client. Should a suitable replacement not be found, LR Disco Entertainment agrees to refund the client their deposit plus any other booking fees already paid in advance.
My venue has asked for a PLI certificate?
We can send you PLI Certificates and will send this over with your confirmation email if you would like. Many venues insist on the DJs having their own insurance.Your venue may need to see proof of insurance prior to your reception. LR Disco Entertainment has up to £10 million PLI cover.
All of our equipment is PAT tested. We can send this over on request.
LR Disco Entertainment will make sure your entertainer is appropriately dressed at your wedding/party. If you are holding a formal evening party, we will make sure the DJ can blend in with your guests with suitable smart clothing. If your evening party is going to be themed or more relaxed, make sure you let LR Disco Entertainment know as they may have an outfit to match. Whilst setting up and dismantling his equipment, your entertainer may need to be in casual clothing, but we believe that there is no excuse for a shabbily dressed DJ, so LR Disco Entertainment staff pride themselves on their appearance.
Does the DJ have a PAT Certificate?
A Portable Appliance Test Certificate is a Health & Safety document that proves the equipment the DJ uses has been tested for electrical safety. All DJ’s should have this and most venues will insist on seeing it prior to your event. LR Disco Entertainment equipment is tested annually.
